Gender Reveal !
As you all know on our last blog post we took a tally to see what everyone thought baby Thompson was going to be! So when we found out we wanted to do something fun for everyone living away from us... so we special ordered scratch offs! Just something small to keep everyone involved.
We asked a few people to send us pics of their reactions or reveals (Hoping for a few more yet) so here they are along with some ultrasound pics revealing the gender!

Boy Team Verses Girl Team!
Well we took a tally between a few friends and family to see what everyone thought I was having!
I had to date two dreams regarding a baby boy, cravings of girl scout cookies and mashed potatoes, and have only gained two pounds at 16 weeks!

The rest of life as of Feb 2013
I am still working at the bakery but it has gone down to part time so looking for a little more hours else where. The dogs are getting huge !! Sophia must be 100 pounds now and Rory is still fat and sassy. I moved out of my Little Italy studio to save some money so we live with a roommate in a pretty big house by Seaworld. School is going well online I am getting A's and B's and overall after the first few weeks on pregnancy it hasn't been to hard to stay caught up. Casey is in and out with the Navy but we will see where he ends up all is well with us (besides my prego emotions lol) he has been great tho and is trying to adjust and read up on how to deal with it! So props to him :) The holidays and my birthday were good. So not much to report here besides the baby!

If you are reading this blog you already know I am expecting my first child now. Were finishing up the first trimester and all is well here! We haven't heard the heart beat but it has been measured and is thriving ! We are still on a huge debate about finding out the sex! We are still not putting it on Facebook etc we want this experience to ourselves and close friends and family. These blog updates will be the easiest way to document the journey and keep all of our loved ones informed!

I am going to go through a few things that we already know and did:
Telling everyone that we are expecting !
I had found out the beginning of December but tried my hardest to wait until Christmas to tell Daddy! I almost succeeded but had to spill before our Arizona trip!
Dec 19th 2012 I handed Casey two Christmas Ornaments with "Jack" and "Lucille" on them! We celebrated and I cried of course :)
Dec 20th 2012 we drove to Phoenix for our Chirstmas Vacation and told Katie and Andy by giving them ornaments with "auntie" and "uncle" on them

Dec 21st 2012 we waited for Rhonda and Stan to get off the airplane from New Mexico at nearly midnight and gave them ornaments saying "grandma is a blessing" and "I love my grandpa"

Dec 22nd 2012 we had a cake made from Trigs in WI for my mom and Bill saying "Boy or Girl? Congrats Gma & Gpa

Dec 25th 2012 my mom announced for us at the family Christmas in WI about the baby!
Dec 25th 2012 I waited for Brett and Rachel to go to my dads for Christmas they all called me and that is when I told my dad he would be a poppyo :)
What we know:
Birthing: hoping to find the right midwife and have a natural water birth
Diapers: Going to use semi cloth diapers can be bought at http://www.gdiapers.com/
Colors: We are going with Gray Yellow and White in the nursery (may add some teal)
Names: Jack Kenneth Thompson or Lucille Katherine Thompson
Due Date: Late August

UPDATE ON LIFE AS OF MARCH 2012
Well friends it has been awhile. I made a list today of people I needed to connect with so if you received the link then you were on my mind and if not i am still happy your reading this!

RELATIONSHIP:
Jordan is still serving in Afghanistan; I am so proud of him but worry sick every day. He left Oct 25th and should be arriving home in the next two months (around the end of May) I couldnt be happier some days seem to take for ever and other fly by. We've had a few bumps as many of you know but isnt that what a relationship consists of? I miss him so much; continue praying please.
TRIPS:
I will start with Wisconsin since most people are awaiting my unknown arrival there.. well its still unknown I havent picked a date nor a month that I will be heading back that way. Maybe the end of May or for HODAG in July. Keep you all posted.
Colorado trip 3 will be happening sooner than planned since one of my best friends just moved there and plus I cant wait to see Michelle, Mike, Brad and Sherri ! So that trip date as of now is April 6th or 13th.
Vegas I am going to be heading that way in April also hoping for the 27th with Jen ! :):) Just need a girls weekend by the pool with shopping of course.
Washington; Jordan and I are taking a week trip in June we are hoping to spend a few days at Lake Chelan then go back to Seattle to be tourist ! Still working out all the details(trip planning is rough)
Last trip to Colorado was awesome I had a wonderful dinner with Jordans parents, went to a wonderful wedding (my roommates sisters) and spent much needed time with him, the made my round to a brewery, manitou springs and a wonderful massage. Im starting to really like Colorado and think it may be the next place on the map.. if only I can adapt to winters..hmmm.
Wisconsin came to CALI! My wonderful friend Lauren came to CA with her boyfriend for multiple reasons one was for the ROSE BOWL (in which the Badgers sadly lost) but the experience was so worth it along with our sushi night in SD! Hot in Herre Radio:) Along with that trip my mom and Bill came out to CA in OCT the day after Jordan left it was bittersweet but we had a awesome time we did the beaches, zoo, car museum, got a parking ticket and made my mom into an even worse passenger driver!
oh WOW and then my hiking trip to BIG SUR! I went over Thanksgiving and it was the greatest thing ever. No cell phones no internet just stunning views everywhere you looked ! Had dinner at fishermans Wharf and really just enjoyed every moment of the trip. Cant wait to go again and also go to Yosemite. I am still hiking in SD as well Stonewall, Coweles, and Black mountain to name a few! I have found a awesome hiking partner now to tackle El Cajon mountain (12 mile hike)
I also came home not long ago for the Holidays (in jan) it was short trip dropped off the MINI (whom doesnt like the cold) and had a great time seeing my mom, grandma lucy, dad, sissys and fam along with a few friends and a very short trip to Madison! Miss it daily but still not ready to come back :) the people are awesome to bad the area isnt.. only good for short periods !
BEING 21:
Being 21 has been fun but not to eventful. I love to go out and dance had one bad night but as you can see im still alive. I worked mandatory inventory on my 21st birthday..so it def wasnt the dream night you always think of. I do enjoy being able to purchase wine.. here in CALI we call me a WINeO :)sweet fruity wine is my favorite.
Crafting:
I have a few projects in the works ! One being my wine cork--cork door project.. I am covering my tv center doors with corks so that I can tack up pics etc. Ive been trying to grow plants in my room but your never going to guess! DEVIL CAT has ate them, pushed the off or dug in the pots so I am going to budget to go to Pigment a little store in northpark that has hanging glass balls you can plant in and im going to hang them from my curtain rod !
NEW ROOMIE AND THE LAST:
Still living in Hillcrest (much better location--about 1-2 blocks from everything!) I live in a really new and updated condo/apartment place with a pool, hard wood floors, wonderful paint, glass/tile bath tub! I really love it. Plus Jacob has a wonderful loving great dane who I just want to steal. Jacob is older and wiser, a ER nurse and really has helped me understand people and what needs to be important to me. I am not going to be leaving his side anytime soon! We might even leave SD together next year or so!
JOB(s):
Finishing up at Nordstrom now; have been working EVERYDAY for the last month and still have 2 weeks to go. Im back to nannying surprise surprise ! This time im doing a nanny share; the families pay less I make more. Gabby is almost 7 months and Clementine is 2 months--back to full time 5 days a weekend 10 hour days but im enjoying it alot ! We take a hour + walk daily lots of eating, pooping, sleeping, playing! Yea to kids.
Art:
I have finally after 6 months of debating put a DOWN PAYMENT yes a down payment on a piece of art. I can not wait to bring it home! I have gone through so many galleries and liked many pieces but I have NEVER said "I need to bring this home" until I saw Tim Cantors Beauty's Privilege. Goal is to bring it home in less than a year !

GYM:
I joined FIT Athletic club finally after visiting a few times and running outside in the wonderful San Diego sun. I am on day 5 of making it to the gym and let me tell you I feel great ! Although 5am comes fast it is so worth it. Working out leads to me eating right again. Fruit for breakfast or lunch. Salad for lunch or dinner then granola bars and protein! <3
SCHOOL AND NEXT YEAR:
I decided that I am going to school for Administrative Child Development so that I can run or open a day care or maybe something with a nonprofit organization or orphanage. I might still pursue medical school if Jordan joins the Navy Seals if not I am going to carry on with Children and love every second of it. As most of you know Cali has been a crazy experience but the cost of living is so high ! (although for the weather and convenience of the city is a wonder how it isnt higher) Jordan should be done with the USMC next DEC and I am def going to be ready to leave when the time comes! So Colorado is on the list ! Mission work is still high on that list (Africa and Belize) of things to achieve in the next year along with world travels (Barcelona, Germany, Egypt, Rome, London)
Sorry its been so long my friends and family I have been so overwhelmed and busy..lets add exhausted too! But must keep pushing on and get to where I want to be!

BEING 21:
