WE MADE PROGRESS

Yesh this weekend was so busy I didn't get to write an actual blog post about how the progress has been going etc. emotionally...I can say this tho:

After everything was said and done yesterday I thought
WOW this is ours and it is paid for. I love it and I can't wait for this adventure. It is beautiful and fits our family's needs and wants and even style. We will have a lot of purging and adjusting to do when we get to Flagstaff but some lifestyle changes were in order and we are ready to embrace them!
We are BLESSED for this experience & journey!

We were able to finish the framing, do the wood floor, start the trim (still need to  stain) and then place the furniture (will be using L-braces to secure soon) and finally got the bed in and had a test run in How-E last night! For the most part all went well last night it was 34 degrees out according to weather channel the bus held heat fairly well which we had already known. We did run the heater for part of the night; right now we are still using the kerosene one and debating about whether wood will be necessary. Today I need to finish sewing the bed/couch cover (Rhonda will be helping) then I may figure out the tiling in the bathroom. We are going to be able to return a bunch of hardwood flooring which is awesome for the pocket book!

*****I realized since blogging that I haven't been descriptive as to how we are getting things done so if you have questions please comment and let me know so I can do a blog post regarding that adventure. For instance, cutting the hole in an Enamel table for the sink was a day long project from jig saws to dremel tools it was a chore and Stan did a great job can't wait to get the sink hooked up!*****

Uncle Zane is officially done helping us it was great for him to come down and visit and share his knowledge with Casey. Very fun and productive time! We can't thank him enough such a pleasure.

Again another huge THANK YOU to all who have helped us and who support us!
Many have asked us for a address for different reasons we will have a PO BOX soon in Flagstaff and will be sending out little post cards with the blog info etc etc.

How-E update 11.20.14

Sorry for the delay friends and followers we've been hard at work.. and by we I mean my wonderful husband and his helpers Uncle Zane/Stan his step dad. I have been appointed the position of child watching and the shopping end of things...so Gender Role like haha but hopefully Saturday I will have my hand at some bus stuff MY KITCHEN!

As stated in the last blog we are really behind our intended schedule; it doesn't appear we will be leaving until next week but that is just life and renovations what can you do?
Tomorrow they will finish the last part of the wall, build another door, and then start laying floor. Then Saturday I have high hopes the flooring will be in so Sunday I can start my kitchen and furniture placement. Im going to give you a sneak peek tonight!!

We did purchase a new mattress and before moving in furniture we need to do a final paint over the panels/boxes and then a final clean after flooring and construction is "complete" for now anyway!

Once we get to Flagstaff..by the way
WE CLOSE TOMORROW ON THE LAND!!!
any who when we get there it is going to be a crazy few days of fencing, plumbing, and solar as I said in the last blog it is kinda exciting to be nearing "completion" of How-E and moving on towards the land and property stuff.

This will be another picture filled blog!
I am hoping to find some time to blog about the struggles and inspiration through this process and how we are handling it as a family but until then enjoy.
