Anyway! All  I have is pictures of my cat (s) I am currently still living down town SD and really love it... Ive been meeting wonderful people (my roomie, Chris, Meagan, Rob, Audi, Lori, Micheal, Libby!) cant wait to start to build strong and lasting friendships with them! Mmy new job at Nordstrom is going wonderful as well as nanny although traffic somedays kills me along with the work my car needs but im working though these issues!  Havent had my first official full check from Nordys but cant wait...putting most away for my trips; if your close to me you know money has been tight since moving here but im finally feeling okay and not stressed ! I am leaving for Colorado in less then a week now and im highly ready/excited. Jay came home last night and we went to dinner at a Vietnamese restaurant ((I live in restaurant central)) anyway i ordered the beef 360 (broke out of my normal food shell and loved it) anyway they were playing live music it was kind of a late dinner we probably went around 9:30 but we had lots to talk about and catch up on since he has been gone for a month and it appears ive been gone from here for a month too :( just been busy. Nothing super new is going on just really happy and fairly content. This month is going to fly by..first CO then my mama is coming here for a short and sweet trip! I got a new permanent address if anyone needs it. Well im off to bed I suppose; I will have lots to post in the next month with my two vacations!

Food for thought from the good book:

Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. Though the rain comes in torrents and the flooding waters rise and the winds beat against the house, it wont collapse because it is build on bedrock. But anyone who hears my teaching and doesnt obey it is foolish, like a person who builds a house on sand. When the rains and floods come and the winds beat against that house, it will collapse with a mighty crash.

Matthew 7 24-27

This is a new verse I found the other night and to me it means that we need to not only find a good support system with in him (our believer whom ever it maybe) but also our surroundings our friends, family, location etc because if you have a solid foundation no matter the storm (issues, drama, hurt etc) we can get through it but if your foundation is lacking in any area you will crash (fall and break)

Slowing down

Sometimes you get so caught up in life you need to stop and enjoy the little things and moments

I took these pictures while Hayden and I were outside playing and on our walk. I realize I live in a place with beautiful weather year around---a place where the sun is always shinning and the flowers are always blooming and that's something i've wanted for a long time. I don't want to forget that.
Last outing with Jay we rode the bike down the coast after work one night and just sat on top of this cliff by the ocean--a man sat in his truck behind us and played the guitar and we just sat and listened--talked about the days to come---and watched the two man peacefully fishing.
XOXO

Ror in love with the new cat tree

Rory and Diego

New place

As most of you know I have been moving into my new place with my so far awesome roommate Leslie! We have three cats total; you'd think it would be too much but honestly its not. Rory still sleeps in my room every night and Otis and Diego are normally hiding somewhere. They are starting to notice each other lots of hissing but nothing more..which is totally normal. I still need to move the bed, huge living room tv, and Jays boxes. Logan (my old roommate) got out of the Marine Corps and is on his way back to Kansas and with Jay being gone this month there are just so many changes! I also got a job at Nordstrom today which is going to be awesome! I cant wait to meet new people, be back in retail, and enjoy my new discount! I get a hourly rate + commission I think I will do great. I have attached a few pics of the new place--no where near decorated nor organized.! But the location is perfect..I walked to the grocery store today and felt totally safe. (That might sound weird to you guys back home but some towns out here well areas you dont feel that way..so im thankful for this location) YEA HILLCREST!

By the way for all my WI friends and family I will be back in 3 days!

Wine kinda night--

If your heart is warm with happiness, you'll need a glass - if sorrow chills your heart, have two! (unknown)

Today over all has been really rough on me; Ive decided movies, wine, and more naps will cure my heart and head for now---

For a more normal update: Jay and I attended a Padres baseball game; over all it was great. The San Diego Padres won and we had incredible seats due to my awesome mom friend Sarah and her husband!

Field over all

Apartment!

Well it is official ! I have decided on a apartment in San Diego...PERFECT location to say the least. 5min from down town (easy bike ride) 2min to downtown Hillcrest (gay/metro community that I think I will really enjoy great restaurants etc) and also near the zoo and balboa park. Very excited--- move in should be in about a week.

I am rooming with a awesome girl (so far hehehehe) whose older then me and has two cats.!

I don't have pictures of the apartment yet but it is a two bedroom, one bath, big living room, hardwood floors except living room which has new carpet, and huge windows. Over all perfect size for us :)

Stress level just went down 100 points !

Rorys newest obsession!

So as many of you reading my blog know..Rory is my baby and is sooo incredibly spoiled it's almost sickening! So first off he has been on a slight diet (he has gained quite a bit of weight and does have a little tummy!) well he isnt "digging" his new diet he cries all the time on top of crying about not being able to go outside which is his newest obsession!

The screen door is closed with a boxed fan in it... Rory has found out how to get behind the fan and paw his way into opening the door! He then explores outside which is totally okay since he has been coming home when it is time to eat (dinner or breakfast) or when I call him which is a chance and is so nice! But then two nights ago I hear cats fighting outside my bedroom door (Yes in the house) 3am mind you!!!! I go and he and another tabby cat are in the house wrestling! He had opened the door and let another cat in ! NOT OKAY!  I kick this HUGE orange tabby cat out and then shut the glass sliding door! and what does he do all night???? CRY AND SCRATCH THE DOOR! He is worse then a child I swear.!

Jordan was on base that night and didn't have to witness or deal with this at 3 a.m. so he of course makes fun on me! Well last night he got a dose of Rory's newest medicine! He pranced around the house whining and then proceeded to scratch at the glass through our entire movie then all through the night till I finally kicked him outside! UGH.

Beaches!

Laguna

Laguna Tide Pools

So far I have explored a few southern beaches ! Venice, Laguna, Encinitas, La Jolla, San Clemente we have been to all multiple times. Venice has a very cool board walk where you can rent beach cruisers eat foreign food and watch cool little music shows while shopping too. Laguna is breath taking but expensive.. the waves range in different sizes everyday and when they are low you can explore the tide pools. La Jolla is where I spot all the dolphins but you must hike down the cove to get there they also have paragliding on top of the ridge. Lastly, Encinitas and San Clemente are located about 40 minutes from each other and are really great beach towns!

Multiple Hiking Trips & Many To Come!

Above: Hiking at La Jolla

Hello Hello! So many posts tonight just trying to catch up and it is a pretty lazy Sunday at our apartment ! I have been hiking a few times since moving out here; once out in Fall brook which is about 30min in land depending on traffic it is nicely wooded and there is a small river you can walk in that is super clear--Second  is  a place called  La Jolla which is on the coast ! Personally it is my favorite because I see dolphins nearly every time I go and the views are incredible ! As soon as Jordan leaves for training in September and I get back from my Wisconsin trip I hope to start hiking a lot more.
